This feature has been completed with our latest UI upgrade which we launched in July. You can now manually create, edit, and move subtasks.

Sure thing, Jake. I’d like to understand a bit more: why would it be helpful for you to have subtasks that aren’t dependencies? For a visual arrangement? Just trying to understand what, specifically, you need in this situation. Thanks for elaborating!

Martin Adams: Thank you for the swift reply! Yes, it would mostly be to create a visual hierarchy. I imagine you are familiar with Getting Things Done - the tasks are the projects and the subtasks are the actions. Without subtasks, more than just a few properly broken down project-tasks begin to look like a wall of text, which can feel overwhelming.

Jake, for sure! I’ll add this to our roadmap.
